Hector Giourgis

Hector Giourgis

Born in 1982 in Athens, his island heritage from Chios and Samos, brought him close to the sea.  He studied at the School of Aquaculture and Fisheries in Mesollogi, and while he was enjoying a successful career in aquaculture he decided to follow his passion and continued his dive training which had started in 2002.  He became a Divemaster in 2008 and is continuing his education to instructor level in 2009. He is passionate with the identification of fish and other marine organisms along with underwater photography.
